Happy Easter!!

Dan and Danny and a happy sack of potatoes!!

Victoria in her Tommy Hilfiger outfit, right down to her tights. (thanks auntie)

Danny with his big gift from the Easter Bunny - we got it to help him with his writing and drawing and he loves it!

giving Nana a kiss before church

Wearing her first really frilly dress :)

Dressed up for church!

Tired girl not quite awake after nap :)

We had a great Easter holiday! Nana drove down from Jax and both kids were so happy to see her. When Danny got off his bus on Thursday she was here to greet him and he was beside himself!
Danny went to his first movie ever with her, on Friday they went and saw Horton hears a who. I asked him if he liked it and he said it was really dark in there :) Mom said he didn't do too bad for his first movie :)
Very old family friends came by Saturday and we had a great lunch, with both kids entertaining them.
Poor Dan has a really bad toothache and the dentist started him on antibiotics on Friday but he is still hurting pretty bad.
Victoria has been waking 2-3 times a night with teething :(
This morning Danny had his usual easter candy hunt with his many clues that had him running all over the house, he loved it! Victoria had no clue what was happening, just liked running after Danny from room to room.
We decided to try out a new church at the movie theater. Danny had a great time in the kids room and halfway through Dan took Victoria out into the hallway while mom and I stayed. I didn't realize till it was over that we had been in there for almost 2 hours! It was very interesting, liked the family feel but we will probably go back to our usual church :)
After eating lunch Nana took Danny to the mall today and then to the park to run off some energy, Dan and Victoria napped while I read :)
We had spiral cut ham, sweet potatoes, squash and homemade bread for dinner - yummy!! both kids ate their fill and left room for our traditional lamb cake!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

Looks like they are actually coloring together :) We bought those toddler round crayola crayons, but Danny liked them alot and Victoria likes to eat his crayons :(

This hat actually stayed on her head for more than 5 seconds! She is saying "NO", her most favorite word right now :) She is getting so big!

Dan showing off our green beer! Danny thought this was so great!

Drinking green milk on St. Pat's Day!

Spread out a blanket on the floor and everyone comes running :)
They played with these blankets for an hour!

just a bunch of pictures!

Drinking out of her cheapy straw cup. She still prefers the bottle over anything else and when tired will not take anything else.

This is what greeted us while coming down the front stairs - a black racer snake sunning itself on the pavers!!

Danny riding his old radio rider bike while pulling Victoria in the wagon, she just climbs in and sits back to relax.

When you have a runny nose you need to stop whatever you are doing to blow it :)

Victoria pulled Danny's chair up to the bathroom door, climbed up and sat back to watch him taking a shower :)

the kids enjoying watching Blues Clues and snacking :)

Bought some of the healthy whole grain pasta - yuck! Both Dan & I thought it tasted really funky, but the kids both loved it!

This picture was taken today in Danny's class at school. They invited the parents in to read a book with their kids. The school has been celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday all week and we had to dig out a Dr. Seuss book to read. Victoria had to get in on it too, she did not want to be left out.
Danny is so loving his big boy class at school. We were prepared for issues because of the change but he has done amazing!!
He had his first private speech class after school today and once again - did amazing!! We decided to go to her house and he had class while I sat in the driveway reading a book :)
Our realtor also texted me to tell me that someone would be coming by tomorrow to look at our house :)

So busy :)

Victoria likes to help out around the house :) I encourage it as much as possible :)

Victoria must have been wrestling in her sleep with her lovey :)

Danny finally enjoying his jeep after all this time, we have had it for years. I pulled Victoria in the wagon while Danny "drove".

Little miss independent walking up and down the stairs while STANDING!! We have to keep an eye on her all the time or she tries this at home :(

We went to a free outdoor concert of the Gulf Coast Symphony. The kids had a great time!

Victoria dancing to the pops!

The kids meeting other people :)

Been so busy here!

Victoria had some kind of infected blister on her foot when we got home from Jamaica. The ped did not want to mess with it and gave her massive antibiotics and a referral to an orthoped. Luckily it took care of itself before we had to have it surgically removed :(
As soon as she started feeling better she started getting cranky again and we now feel her two upper molars coming in :( We had a couple of very rough nights and last night she only woke up once :)
Unfortunately it really hurts to have the lower molars hitting the swollen gums. She seems to be a bit better today, though the teeth aren't all the way out yet.
We had Danny's IEP meeting at school on Monday and it went really well. Everyone had read his psych report, but the school won't officially recongnize it till the head school psychologist reads it and comments on it :) gotta love bureacracy!
The best part is that Danny was moved up to the riser prek class to get him ready for kindegarten. This class has kids closer to his age and will be so much better for him. We have signed him up for IA Kindegarten, which has about 18 kids and 1 ft teacher and 2 pt teachers. We met one of the IA teachers and she was very nice.
Danny starts private speech and language therapy tomorrow too :)
Things are definately looking up!!
I have been researching used vehicles trying to decide what I really want next. I really do NOT want another minivan, but it looks like I may end up with one if only for the space. I have been checking into SUV's and mini SUV's, but just don't know.
Any recommendations out there?? Good vehicle for less than $15K?
