Happy Day!

We met with the new buyers on Saturday to go over the house, they were here for 1 1/2 hours! Dan got to meet them and really likes them too!
They are so excited about the house, they told me that as soon as they entered the front door they just knew! how awesome! They already bought a bunch of stuff and measured each room. The husband is already planning his "manroom" downstairs. He is buying a pool table and ping pong table to set up. They have family that lives right around the corner too.
They head home today to Ohio, the home inspection is Thursday early and we should have a copy of their loan approval by then! So all contingencies will be cleared!!
Hard to believe it is really time to get moving :)
Working on a mobile storage unit that we will fill and have shipped up to Jax to be stored there till we have a new house.
We are so lucky to have my mom's place to stay while we look and hope to be settled before school opens in August.
The weather is crappy so we are hanging at the house, instead of going out on the boat. Dan's back(sciatica) is really bothering him, the PT is not helping much. I think we will be going to a chiropractor soon. I have a mean sinus cold that is just knocking me out :( Happy birthday to me :) It is only 60 this am!! brrrrr
I am packing about 1-2 boxes per day and hopefully we will have the storage unit here so we can start filling it soon.
We are still working out the logistics of getting the big boat up to Jax, we may just have to wait till after we move and then do a one way car rental to get back down here. It should only take about 4 days to get up there, depends on the water level in Lake Okeechobee.

The showing today went great!! The couple stayed here for about 45 minutes, asked all the right questions and LOVED our house!! We really liked them, they also have 2 kids almost the same ages as ours. They had a Catalina 35 for years that they just sold. They could not believe the coincidence that we had a Catalina 34 for 10 years and used to live on it :)
Our agent called us about 30 minutes after they all left to tell us that they really like the house and absolutely love the location! She also liked my touch of baking a couple of cookies just before they all got there :) They have a house to sell in Naples but have had a lot of activity on it and are not going to make our deal contingent on it selling. They asked our realtor if we would be willing to close quickly and then lease back for a few months while we got situated. Of course if in the meantime their house sold they would then want us out :) They are meeting with their finance person to work out details. At least then the pressure would be off us to wait for a closing before buying something else and Danny would be able to finish out school.
Last night about 5 my cell rang and it was the realtor. I thought she was calling to tell us she had an offer, but she wanted to let us know that another agent wants to show it tomorrow at 9! The more the merrier!!
Wow - this is getting real! and scary! At least the house is already clean :) ;0
What is kind of weird is that the realtor coming tomorrow was our original realtor from 1 1/2 years ago. We haven't spoken since we changed realtors. But at least she knows the house :) I don't know if I should stay or not. We did not part on bad terms and I know she would love to meet Victoria.

Just got back from the dr's little missy is 31 inches tall and weighs 23 1/2 pounds!!
The dr was very impressed that she has over 50 words, which includes english, spanish and signs. He is not worried about the bottle issue since she only gets milk in the morning, nap and bed times and otherwise it is water. We don't let her walk around with it and I try sippy cups every day, she will only sip a little bit and then just won't drink it. We have held back on her bottle but then she gets constipated. The dr said not to worry to just keep trying the cups and sooner or later she will just get it. She will drink out of a regular cup so we do use them a bit, but it is so messy!
Victoria cried the minute we walked back to the dr's office and cried every time someone came into the room. Luckily she only had one shot and she is now completely caught up on her shots! She does not go back till her 2 yr visit :)


Danny is so excited about his Star Wars sticker book that is just like his cousin Adam's!!

Danny is doing great in the older, riser pre-k class! He loves being with kids his own age. He is also doing great with his private speech class. We did school choice for the fall and Danny got his first choice!
Danny has school break in a week and a half and we are taking off on the boat to RELAX!!
BREAKING NEWS!!
Just got a call from our realtor - our house is being shown on Monday at 11:00 - please pray that this works out! The people coming to see it have been here and walked the property and are getting a babysitter so they can spend some time here! The best part is our realtor is showing it herself and she knows our house inside and out!!
Please pray that this works out, it would be just so awesome to be able to move once Danny is out of school and before he starts kindegarten in the fall!
We really miss Nana too!

I told Dan that once we had Danny squared away with school and speech that the house would sell and we would have to start over :)

Sorry for not posting sooner - very tired here.
Victoria is still not sleeping well, her molar finally broke through and she has been up at least 1-2 times per night. Tooth #12 is almost out :)
I tried to upload pics and blogger is not cooperating, will try later.
Victoria has her 18 month checkup tomorrow so I have been keeping track of her words for the doc and she is up to 50!!
