Summer Vacation is done!! :)

the last 2 weeks of summer vacation the kids went to an acrobatic/gymnastic/dance/crafts camp :)

and it was right near my work.

every day starts with running around :)

Her circle got smaller, but she kept on!

 every afternoon they went on a field trip- water park, pool, splash park, library, lots of fun stuff

They loved camp and they were SO tired at the end of the day! :)

 They were VERY excited when their cousin Nicole went one day with them!!

Ms Olga had one of her dance students come in with her costume and all made up and the kids were enthralled! they thought it was amazing :)

We have been working on letters, writing, reading, tracing, coloring and puzzles :)
sh, don't tell them it is school work :)

 They are SO very excited that tomorrow is the first day of school!! they have their backpacks ready to go, snacks are packed, first day clothes are hanging up :)
This is the last year they will all be in the same school :( my babies are growing up!!

I took them out for lunch after and they were sassy and beautiful! :)

I noticed Gerri limping and found she has relapsed a bit with her latest growth spurt :(
good news, bad news. good news - growth spurt, bad news - relapse.

I took a picture to send to her Dr in Philly and we will be going back for casting again :(
I am padding her foot and we will not be driving down for some serial casting till October.
they start school right after labor day and she wants (I want ) her to start school being mobile and not in a cast and her wheelchair. three years home and she still couldn't let me know her foot hurt :(

Bathroom is done! :)

yah!! mirror mounted low so they can look at themselves :)

we took the time to move Danny's room, set up a computer area, get him ready for 5th grade!!

 He loves it! :)

We set up a work area and a file cabinet :)

they have been so busy all summer, 4 weeks of summer reading school, now 2 weeks of Club Simonds, the town rec dept. They then have 2 weeks off before school starts right after labor day.

Yesterday we went to visit my best friend from high school! I have not seen her in so long! we had a ball!! for sure our next visit will not be so far away :)

Must be time for new construction!!

With all the sewer issues we have had we knew we were looking at some major plumbing fixes. We had decided we needed to remodel the kids bathroom since they needed a shower and each time something backed up it came out into their bathroom.

here are the before pics!

cabinets falling apart

cool looking accessible shower, that did not drain and was not waterproofed :(

big ole tub - kids loved it but it held lots of water and it got cold too fast :(

found two holes in the floor, from previous toilets, not plugged

I was thinking of planting some flowers :)

but yippy for new pipes!! :) and our plumber actually uses glue! :)

we picked out our new tub/shower combo and this week I will pick out the tile :)
