So I am stuck at the house while Chicken Little (that would be hubby for those who don't know him) heads out to the boat to make sure it is properly tied off. He is also meeting with the marina people to see what their plans are for the marina if a hurricane comes this way :)
He is stressing out about whether we have enough lines and/or long enough lines :)
I am the calm one that likes to wait till the hurricane is actually a threat and within a couple days away from us. Hubby likes to be prepared WELL ahead of time, cause you just never know :)

well today on the news they said that dean looks like it's on it's way to my neck of the woods..ya'll are probably in the clear...we left for rita and i'm not sure i would go through that again
Found your blog on Lou's...I am a Floridian too and I wasn't prepared at ALL for hurricanes until Charley came right for us. Now I'm on the same boat as your hubby. Scary stuff...Your children are adorable!
