Victoria's First Day!!

My babies are so grown up!!!

She had a rough time getting to sleep last night, she was so excited!
At 9:30 I went up to see what was going on and found her leaning up against the wall outside her bedroom with her eyes at half mast. She had climbed over the gate in her room but I guess could not climb back in. I asked her why she was awake and she said she didn't know. I took her gate off and put her back in bed, she was asleep in 2 minutes. I felt so bad for not checking on her sooner but I was waiting for a commercial to come on for BB11. :( I decided to leave the gate off her room and we are going to focus on getting her to stay in bed in her room.

As I was leaving her room I stepped on something in the playroom. I found a pillow, blanket, mat and her babies lined up at the top of the stairs. She must have been sleeping there and when she heard me coming up the stairs ran into the hall outside her bedroom. :(

We are so out of the blogging ring! Hoping you're mending well and that pain has subsided by this time. You are lucky to have a family of helpers - you must have taught them right, Nan. We are relieved that we have The Empress' pre-school anxiety out of the way. It will help her when she begins 5 day weeks in a few years. Your kids look spiffy in their uniforms.
We have begun to recycle the clothes that you sent us when we received Joanna Mei. Some good friends had a surprise when their son and daughter in law were approved for a 5 month old girl. They had just days to prepare, so we were able to pass on a crib, baby toys and a good chunk of your clothes for the future. It will not be long until they need them.
Blessings to you and your family and we wish you a quick recovery, Nan.
