Getting Closer!

Nana helped the kids make valentine's cookies.
Victoria ate more sprinkles, decorations and cookie dough than cookies!
Danny was upset Victoria was being so messy :)
She is still feeling better, been sleeping better too!!

If you saw our countdown clock on the right you will notice that it changed slightly.
We were supposed to have our paperwork submitted tomorrow, but things change (as they always do) and now it will be Thursday. It turns out to be a good thing as we had to do a new form which should have been delivered overseas last Thursday and for some reason has been hung up in Paris and is now supposed to be delivered tomorrow. So we would not have been able to be submitted tomorrow anyway and if things had not changed we would have had to wait till the following Monday!
So in the words of our stateside helper, we are 4 days early, not 3 days late :)

Please pray for quick appoval and travel date issuance! We just can not wait!!

I'm a firm believer that things always happen as they do for a reason. I'll be praying for you guys! Can't wait to read about your adventures.

Thursday can't come soon enough!!! And what a beautiful dress in last post! I just have one question, did you send her the Honda repair manual too for bedtime reading?

Well Nancy - we know we are on this same schedule together - but I keep praying for you guys for Thursday!! I love the dress and I can't blame Ms V for eating the sprinkles and cookie dough - I did the same when I was girl!!! That -I totally "get"!! Enjoy Ms V!!! And Nancy - I totally expect we'll see each other in Kiev!!!

hi nancy! sorry to see you didnt get submitted yet! i think about you guys everyday here. i havent seen svetlana, we dont see any other children. but hopefully serge can come and get some good pics for us. i really hope to see her. its wierd to be in the same building and not see all the RR kids that i feel like i 'know', especially svetlana. things are going well here, but i feel like we are going to be here forever because of that dang interpol thing.
Artiom is a sweet little boy, he will need lots of therapy and love, but i think he will teach us all a lesson in love. well, i miss 'talking' to you :)
