Heading over the gwashington bridge :)
Right after I posted that we hit LOTS of traffic! We were up at 6:30 at the hotel, had breakfast and was on the road by 7:00
Here are the kids playing with their travel memory games - big hit!
Holding hands as we cross over the GW bridge!
Our destination! Our little rental cottage in Rockport MA!
Our view from the front yard!
Pictures of the inside :)
SO happy to be out of the car!!
Showing off their little gifts they got for being SO good!
Danny-Bakugan and the girls - strawberry shortcakes
Then we played Nerf football to get some energy out!
SO happy our road trip is over! Today was 7 hours on the road. We hit Rockport and did a big shop and then to the cottage. Everyone was so excited to be here and see where we were staying.
We had dinner, showers and tubs and then bed!! Victoria was so wound up she could not fall asleep till 9:30! It is SO good to be back home!! (Dan is from Salem and I am from Waltham)
Lets hope it does not get TOO cold!!

Where's the final destination?
You know Nancy, either you post things all at once from previous days, OR things come in to my computer willy nilly like. Because these last several posts weren't on here yesterday.
Of course I haven't had my coffee yet, and may be just extra dense!
But I have noticed it before too.
Just love to see all that color in Gerri's face! You'd think she'd always been playing out in the sun!
I am feeling sad we didn't travel to MA the end of the month instead of the beginning. I would have loved to meet up with you.
I hope you are having a wonderful vacation!
Blessings,
Grace
So glad you guys are on vacation! Gerri's first family trip--makes me all happy!
Enjoy your time away!
Kristin
Picturesque! Love the cottage!!!! have fun!Oh you guys always do no need reminding you!!
Great pics Nancy. I thought it didnt quite look like FL and then remembered that you were travelling up here. Nothing like home. I forgot Dan was from Salem (just like me). I would say I'd love to get together but I know you probably have a million things to do with your family and I work now. Enjoy your vacation and maybe someday we can see each other again. <3
