Its a Bugs life :)

Today was water play day at school. So the kids got to wear their bathing suits, play in the sprinkler, have lots of relay races with buckets, spoons and cups :) They even had water balloon fights. The kids were all tired from playing all morning. When we picked them up I noticed that Danny had a hugs bruise on his nose!
Turns out he and one of his friends ran into each other in the sprinkler.

We keep teasing him that he is going to have a shiner :)

I bought the kids some bug catching kits and they had a ball chasing grasshoppers!

Exhausted from all that work!! Cooling off in front of the fan :)

Gerri is now able to get on and off the potty by herself.
She can get dressed and undressed by herself. Including socks.
She can get in and out of the stroller by herself.
She can get in and out of her car seat and into her stroller beside the car by herself.
She can get in and out of the bath tub by herself.
She can get in and out of bed by herself.
She is starting to use her legs and her knees to accomplish her tasks!!!
Still waiting to start PT, they would not let me set up the first appt without the script :(

Every day she understands more English. She tends to speak Russian whenever she gets excited.  But I have noticed more and more English words popping out. There is nothing funnier than hearing her say in her accent "holey moley" or "oh my gosh". She says share, please, thank you, I sorry, love you, bed, pee, poop, yes and no, that is mine, more, bless you, excuse me, and learning grace every night :)

They're all so cute.

well thank goodness you made them wear their clothes! we cant have grasshoppers out there being chased by naked children! lol(snarky sarcasm of course) its great that baby girl is coming along so well! Sophie speaks all English all the time EXCEPT she will not say poop. she says kawkawt every time. if we say poop she says poop AND kawkawt. lol.
