Thank heavens for friends!!

This morning we had to head up to Nem*urs hospital to get Ms V a chest xray and some bloodwork. Her Dr wants to see if there is anything going on causing these recurrent fevers.
Before we left I emailed a couple of online friends about our PT experience.
I got 2 phone calls!!! 1 uses the same ortho dr and has a infant with club feet. The other mom and I go way back to Guatemala days :)  She has a child with club feet and arthro!
After talking to both moms we both felt so much better!!!! Thanks!!
We just have to get used to hearing differing opinions.
Our ortho Dr is a certified Ponsetti Dr. I had emailed the big wig Dr in Iowa and he agreed with what we had planned. So we are feeling much better about the whole process. We just know this next year will be a long one and there is no rush to this process. As our ortho Dr said it has been 6 years already. Gerri will not get any worse, but will improve greatly with all our hard work.
I also put in a call to the ortho Dr's asst and they still did not have the PT report.
Once they have the report we will talk about it. We may change where we go for PT.

So we dropped Danny and Gerri off at school and headed off to the hospital.
Ms V was great the whole time. She kept calling the phlebotomist the shot lady. At first we thought she was saying the short lady :) :)

By the time we were done it was lunch time and we took her out to lunch. She kept saying her arm hurt :)
We picked Gerri up at school and headed home.
The girls had a great time on the trampoline by themselves:

How is this for only 2 days of trying!!!!
Tomorrow is the last day of school!!! omg!

Danny is a bit out of sorts. He does not like change and this whole week at school has been different. Lots of playing. Top it off with Nana heading North for the summer!

Sounds to me like you are def. on the right track regarding your questions about what the PT said - trusting your instincts, contacts, dr. and ultimately your gut.

I know you've got a long year or so head and so does Miss Gerri - but I know you will all get it done and there's no doubt in my mind you'll get it done right!! Just look at Gerri now v/s 2 months ago!!! Enough said!!
