Cast #4!!

Today was the day to do a new cast!!!
Laughing the whole way!!! The techs fight over who gets to do it!

Here is a picture of the plaster casts under the fiberglass. The plaster is what holds her feet in place!

Can't believe these are the same feet!!!

She was SO excited to see her feet!!
Her poor knees were really stiff. She was very upset and I had to remind her that they have been bent for 6 weeks now! So we spent some time stretching and she felt better.
She kept saying looking mommy they straight!!!!

Ms Heather entertaining Gerri :)

Bright yellow this time!!!
The Dr really worked her left foot, which is lagging the right.

To put it in perspective here is a picture before her first casting and the new ones on the right!!!

We can't even believe how much change she has had with 4 casts adn 6 weeks of Ponsetti method serial casting!!! What a god send!! Gerri just kept looking down at her bright yellow casts and saying "they straight, they straight!!"

Once home all 3 kids had some homework!!!
Victoria and Gerri were excited, Danny NOT!

It's so sweet how she is so excited that they're straight! What a blessing you guys have been in her life!
Lindsey talks about Gerri a lot. She misses her :)

What an amazing difference in her feet! That's awesome.

I've been curious (nosey!) her feet "ache" at all after being straightened a bit more and casted? This is probably a bad analogy, but kind of like after a child has their braces "adjusted" each month as their teeth are getting straightened. Just wondering. :-)

Yes, what a difference. It is truly amazing!!! They had to order yellow for Bryson when he finally had his surgery as he was always asking for yellow and they never had it. Then they ordered it for him and WOW it was a shocker when he came out of missing where they are!!!

I was ready for the red or blue when we changed casts!
