Today was class picture day. It was supposed to be back in March but the photographer did not show. How cool that Gerri gets to be in the class pictures!!
They were very excited to be in their Monday Formal Uniforms!

They both had great days and then it was time for Gerri to see Dr Pat, our pediatrician.
They were all happy to be in the butterfly room :)
Gerri was not too sure about this whole thing
Her weight is the same as it was in UA which was surprising since she is eating so much more, but she is also SO much more active. Dr says we need to get more meat on her. She was so happy to hear how much she is doing already. She cried whenever the Dr tried to do anything, like check her heart and lungs.
I held her hand and told it was ok, no boo boos.
The kids were all ready to hold her hand because she had to get 3 shots :(
I ended up sitting on the bench and holding her so she would not move around too much. She cried and both Danny and Victoria told her it would be ok and hugged her. Victoria then yelled woo hoo! you get to go to the treasure box now!!

She gave Dr Pat a big ole hug after piercing her ears :)
We love this pediatrician!! Dr Pat is working on the bloodwork paperwork and the ortho referral. She was impressed by the before and after hip xrays. The ear piercing was supposed to cost $50 but the Dr had it be their gift to us!! how sweet is that! She kept saying what a happy, sweet little girl!
The whole way home Gerri kept saying I can't wait to show papa!!!
We parked out front of the house and I opened the sliding doors, Dan stepped out of the house and Gerri was so excited she kept yelling Papa Papa come see!!!
He played it up big time and the smile just lit up her face!!
Hamming it up in the bath tub tonight :)
Gerri got a bit of Tylenol for her aches and everyone was sound asleep by 8!!

Oh my, I am just crying right now! I've been waiting for the ears to be pierced!! I think I even mentioned it in an earlier comment. I have just fallen in LOVE with your three children!! You guys are SO Blessed to have such happy, beautiful kids. I'm amazed about the Emla cream! Who knew they even used it for ear piercing?? Do they also use it for pokes? Gerri is looking SO good, Nan. I was thinking that the girls almost look the same size in the photo on the counter. Did they suggest something like Carnation Instant Breakfast for wt. gain? There's also Childrens Ensure. Whatever, I think she looks AWESOME!!! JO

I can't believe the difference already in such a short time in how different Gerri looks!!! She is blossoming at an incredible rate!! You see her every day so you probalby don't see it quite like those of us out here can - but WOW - she is making huge gains!!! What a wonderful job being with you & Dan and the kids is making!!!!! She is just a beauty - but then again so are the other 2 mustkateers!!!!
