The Talk!

Wednesday is my busy day, After dropping off the kids at school I had time to run to Dunkins for a coffee before heading back to school for Flag. I had asked to speak to the students about families, adoption and Gerri's condition. Danny and Gerri were there and the kids were all so good. They asked really great questions. We talked about different ways to make a family.  The kids were very interested in what life was like in the orphanage, they were especially amazed when I told them Gerri ate the same thing every day for breakfast and the same thing every day for lunch and dinner.  The kids were very interested in her feet and if she would walk. Gerri could tell I was talking about her. When I was done I walked over by her and she said loudly, "good job mama"!! :)
After flag it was time to be computer mom for Danny's class. I just don't think teachers are paid enough!!

I had time to run to T*rget for a couple of things.
Then it was lunch time and pick up the girls.
Everyone had a great day!

Here is one of her favorite things! writing in her book in English!

Hard to believe this is the same child that was so terrified of the dogs just 2 weeks ago!

Christmas Princess music toy with fake snowfall, the girls love it!

Up from nap and modeling another of her "new" dresses from shopping yesterday.

This is one of the things I picked up today, now Gerri has a camping bed too!
We have a cub scout camping trip this weekend! Should be interesting :)

Playing in the backyard while the AC guy does our yearly maintenance.
Danny fell out of the wagon and Gerri laughed and laughed, which of course made Danny do it again and again and again...

Hanging around

Dan and the AC guy chatting while doing paperwork

Gerri showing she can roll around in the grass

Lexie hiding out in the shade, with all the toys :)

Snack time, yoo hoo and goldfish!

More sister love :)

Now some daddy love :)

Playing with the toys from Auntie - Thanks!!
Bakugan!

"Good Job Mama!" How great that you got to talk to the school kids and raise awareness about orphans and adoption!
