The start of PT and swimming!!!

Yesterday was the official start of PT!
The PT was very impressed by how much ROM Gerri has gotten already!
Here she is kneeling!

Check out this face!

We worked on wheelchair control too.
Here she is using the door opener herself!

So proud of herself!

Happy daddy  putting princess sprinkles in the girls hair :)

Today we went swimming again :)

The kids had fun till some bigger kids came crashing through

How amazing is this!!! Swimming!!!!!

Hi, I'm Kim M from Chesterfield, MO.
My husband and I adopted a little boy (5) with special needs from Ukraine in 2009. I love to read your blog. It's mental therapy for me. :)

I also have 2 bio children. My daughter has hip-dysplasia, so I asked her doctor at the St. Louis Children's hospital how much experience they have treating older children. Interestingly, one of the doctor's is world renowned for his specialty with club feet and he has treated children in their teen years. Soo...here's his info.

Matthew B. Dobbs, M.D
Pediatric Foot and Spine Deformity Specialist
Email: dobbsm@wudosis.wustl.edu
Phone: (314)454-4192

This doctor also works at Shriners Hospital in St. Louis and will treat patients without cost.

Now, how's that for too much information from a complete stranger. :)

Blessings on your day,

Kim M
