Sunday Night!

The orphanage cats :)
Svetlana's snack, some kind of bread with a sweet butter
She didn't want it she said she was waiting for mama :)

Eating her yoghurt!
Blowing her nose, poor thing has a cold!
Very happy to show off her bling
and her hair
Yes they gave her scissors, paper and walked away
So very intent on her cutting! She did great!
She decided I had a boo boo and Dr Gerri Sveta took care of it.
She used a pencil to give me a shot after wiping my arm with gauze
Dr Gerri Sveta taking care of a boo boo on her leg
This is her face when I told her I had to go
I took the picture when I thought she was faking, she was not :(
Our wonderful taxi driver Alexander fixing his flat tire
Dinner out tonight:
Wonderful pizza and beer :)

Such a sad little face! I sure hope you get court this week so you can take her home.
She has been waiting so long for her family.

Oh, that little face made me cry! You can tell she's sick, because of the purple circles under her eyes. I think she just craves to be held in your arms, especially when she's not feeling well. I can hardly wait until I know you have her WITH you and you lie down beside her and snuggle with her! Her hair is beautiful with that braid! Well, she's actually beautiful in all of her pictures! I've been following your journey, but this is my first time to comment...(I think)! You have done an amazing job throughout your time there. I LOVE all of the photos. I had to laugh when I saw the bras in the one "shop"! It does look like you can buy just about everything there!
Sveta looks so lonely today. I don't like that she is so isolated in that big room! You know, the photos make that country look so much like America in many ways...like some of the clothing the women wear and the way some have their hair permed or tinted. But, then I see some of the things in the orphanage and it seems so far removed from what I see here. I would definitely feel some "culture shock" there! Anyways, I hope the evening visit will find your little one feeling better! How many more days until you get to take her to your apartment? You are in my Prayers! Jo

one more funny thing: when we were at the bazaar looking for a baseball cap for Ari, we were having a hard time finding one and we went by all those bra's and Alexander stops and says "look, two caps" :) HA Ha ha
